Problem

Sending a document for signature is harder than it should be

Sensitive documents go through someone else's servers

Every major signing tool is a cloud relay. Your contract — with client names, commercial terms, and pricing — passes through a third-party platform before it ever reaches the other side.

Signing requires too much from the other person

Your client gets an email. They click a link. They're asked to create an account. They have to navigate an unfamiliar platform just to click a box. Many don't bother — and you spend days chasing them.

Existing tools don't fit how organisations already work

Most businesses already have identity infrastructure — certificates, keys, internal systems. Cloud signing tools ignore all of that and ask you to start over inside their platform.

"Before, my partner would send me links to three different pages just to get a signature. Now I double-click the file, press sign, and it's done. The document stays on my machine — I'm not chasing emails anymore." — Small business owner
"The hard part wasn't signing — it was getting a non-technical client through a platform they'd never seen before. With Pact, I send one file. They open it. We stay compliant with data protection without me having to explain anything." — Agency director

Regulated industries

Legal, fintech, healthcare, and government need signing solutions that keep data on their own infrastructure. Today no mainstream tool serves them.

Data-sovereign organisations

GDPR, HIPAA, and national data-residency laws are forcing organisations to reconsider cloud-first tools. Self-hosted is becoming a procurement requirement.

Emerging markets

Many fast-growing economies lack established document infrastructure. Pact provides a foundation for professional document workflows where that infrastructure doesn't yet exist.

Solution

One file. Double-click. Signed.

No third-party relay

You send the file directly — email, message, however you like. The document never touches an intermediary server. For enterprise, it stays entirely within your own infrastructure.

No account required for your client

The recipient double-clicks the file on any operating system. Pact opens, they fill the form and sign. That's it. No registration, no platform, no chasing.

No subscription

The core product is free. Teams upgrade to Pro for cloud convenience and collaboration. Enterprise pays for full self-hosting with their own infrastructure.

Real signatures — three methods

Hardware token (eIDAS-qualified), certificate-based PKI, or local cryptographic keys. All verifiable entirely offline — no call to an external service, ever.

Free tier

Full document editor and all signing methods included. Share .pact files directly — the recipient needs Pact installed to open and sign.

Pact Professional

Send to anyone — no install required on their end. Deliver via Pact cloud or as a self-contained file that opens on any operating system.

Enterprise

Your files. Your servers. Full sovereignty — documents never leave your infrastructure at any point in the workflow.

AI Integration

The signing layer for AI-generated documents

AI agents are increasingly drafting contracts, NDAs, and agreements automatically. Today those documents exist as plain text — there is no structured, signable output format.

Pact ships a native MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Any AI agent that supports MCP can create, read, fill, and route Pact documents with no custom integration required.

Every Pact document also carries embedded parsing instructions so AI models can read and edit documents correctly without additional prompt engineering.

What this unlocks

Legal AI tools can generate a contract and hand it directly to Pact for structure, form-filling, and signing — a complete end-to-end workflow with no manual steps.

Why it matters for investors

The agentic AI market is growing fast. Pact is positioned as the default document execution layer — the moment an AI workflow needs a signable document, Pact is already there.

First-mover advantage

No other e-signing tool has a native MCP integration. AI agent workflows that adopt Pact now will carry it forward — distribution lock-in through the developer ecosystem.

Team

Kristifor Milchev — Founder & Lead Engineer

  • Built digital signature software before Pact existed — at LinkSync Global, led development of enterprise cryptographic signature tooling for file authenticity and a 2FA system built on EVM signatures
  • 4 years in enterprise device security — Lead Developer at AirZen Networks building cloud MDM infrastructure for Android Enterprise, iOS/macOS, and cross-platform device management at production scale
  • Built a product that became a company — at Sensavation, built pest management software from scratch that directly led to the founding and incorporation of PestSense
  • 10+ years shipping production software — hospital systems, IoT platforms, payments, crypto infrastructure, MDM, and now Pact — across web, mobile, and native desktop
  • Led teams, not just code — held Lead Developer roles across three companies, responsible for architecture decisions, team management, and product direction

LinkSync Global · 2020–2022

Lead Developer. Built enterprise digital signatures software specialised in file authenticity. Also built a cryptocurrency wallet with live market data across major blockchains and decentralised swaps.

AirZen Networks · 2022–2026

Lead Mobile Developer and Cloud MDM Infrastructure. Built device management servers and security policy enforcement for enterprise Android and Apple fleets at scale.

PestSense · 2017–2020

Lead Developer. Built the core platform from the ground up — the work led directly to the founding of PestSense as an independent company.
